I’m Tony, the proud owner of @tonyandcam, a small, Veteran-owned business based in beautiful Western North Carolina. I dedicated over 20 years to serving our Nation, retiring in the summer of 2020—right in the middle of COVID and all its challenges. In the meantime, I went back to school, earned my MBA from Wake Forest, and stepped into the Finance sector, where I still work today. But something was missing.

I found myself longing for the life I once lived. Though things are different now, my camera has become a way to reconnect with that past. During my service, a significant part of my time was spent doing photography in some of the harshest conditions—and I miss it. That’s why, every weekend, I’m up before dawn, driving until I find a trail, an overlook, or just the perfect spot to wait for a scene to unfold. Rain, wind, heat, or cold—it doesn’t matter. I find joy in the discomfort because it takes me back and clears my mind.

I’ve been running @tonyandcam for two years now, and what started as a personal passion project has grown into something far bigger. I’ve had the honor of capturing special moments for amazing people like you—your loved ones, your stories, and your memories. That trust is incredibly humbling, and it inspires me every day.
